Thousands of qualified visitors and buyers are expected to attend the 15th Annual Ventura County, Channel Islands Harbor In-Water Boat Show. 2010 will be a great year for boat shows, and Channel Islands Harbor, with our beautiful outdoor location, our expanding advertising and promotion, will be no exception. Motivated buyers will drive for miles to visit and browse through tents displaying some of the finest in nautical items, fishing equipment, marine accessories, state-of-the-art electronics, apparel, trailer-able watercraft… and stroll over docks packed with spectacular In-Water boats.

Marketing / Promotional

The show will continue its already substantial advertising program, including color ads in major local newspapers, magazines, and boating publications. There also will be full?color posters distributed throughout Southern California retail shops, discount coupons, and thousands of flyers distributed to bolster attendance. Multiple options for sponsors to take advantage of a multipronged advertising campaign are available.

In addition to our traditional web site, which receives more than 80,000 page views in the three months prior to the event, we are expanding our online marketing efforts by leveraging the power of social media. Online media, such as e?mail newsletters, Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, Blogging and others will be used to promote our Sponsors, Exhibitors, and the Show. These efforts will begin 6 months prior to the actual event, thus the earlier sponsors get onboard, the more exposure they will receive.

The existing web site also will be expanded to include more interactive tools and informative materials for boaters and environmentally conscious consumers to bolster our online audience.

Channel Islands Harbor serves as the perfect natural backdrop to the Boat Show and Green Expo.  Located between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, delicious food specialties and a fine selection of beverages will be offered by Hennessey’s Tavern as the official food and beverage sponsor. This will be supplemented by live musical entertainment on the waterfront stage providing the perfect atmosphere for our special event.

General Admission Adult: $12

Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

$3 off adult admission coupons will be available at cooperating retailers, publications and on this Web site.
